WHAT IS COMPOST TEA?

Compost tea is a liquid fertiliser made by steeping compost in water. It's essentially a nutrient-rich solution that's brewed from compost and water, often with additional ingredients like molasses or seaweed added to enhance its nutrient content. The compost is typically placed in a permeable bag or container and steeped in water for a period of time, allowing beneficial microorganisms and nutrients to leach into the water. This "tea" is then applied to plants as a foliar spray or soil drench to provide them with essential nutrients and improve soil health. It's a popular organic gardening practice used to promote plant growth and vitality.
